New: Meet Jagels!

Posted on Aug 16, 2019

Welcome, Jagels! A Conversation with Pickett Street’s Command Central Captain

The Pickett Street team is excited to welcome Christina Jagels as the new Command Central Captain (official title TBD). Christina has been in the real estate industry since 2012, and she is well known for her knowledge of real estate contracts and negotiation; for her motivation and drive; for her empathy for clients and team members; and for her perspective and intuitive abilities. In addition to her work with Pickett Street, she owns a transaction coordination business called Closer Pros LLC.

This week, I chatted with Christina about her story, her new role, her favorite places, and more.

If you’re interested in saying hello to Christina, or if you would like to chat with Pickett Street about buying or selling a home, reach out at info@pickettstreet.com or (425) 502-5397.

Hi Christina, tell me about yourself! Where did you work prior to Pickett Street?

I grew up here in the PNW, moved around a bit, and settled in Arlington. I have been in real estate serving top producing teams since 2012. I have had many admin roles within those teams, including Transaction Coordinator and Executive Assistant.

I am very happy to have found a space with Pickett Street Properties and am looking forward to being a part of their growth. 🙂

Tell us about your new role at Pickett Street? What are you most excited about regarding this work?

My new role at Pickett Street is their Command Central Captain. I ensure that the ship is moving forward and that all the holes are plugged, all systems are a go, and the shipmates are fed and hydrated.

What do you love about the real estate industry right now?

I love about the real estate industry is that it is always changing. You’re always learning so much through the people you meet and their stories.

Describe your own home, what’s it like?

I currently live in Arlington, WA, in a cute little community in a cute little house with my kiddo and my boxer named Jack, who is full of love and energy. Mostly Jack loves going on car rides and swinging his babies around until they die.

My house is my safe place. When I go on a vacation, I like to buy things for my home so I can recall the places I visit and the people I traveled with. Feeling safe for me is snuggling up on my couch with a blanket, watching a movie with the sound of a candle flickering, and knowing my son and my dog are with me.

I also have a safe haven in my backyard with flowers and green grass and trees where I can just listen to the wind. I love what this planet has to offer, so I try to listen as much as I can.

I love that. Sounds like paradise. What do you like best about yourself?

I love my realness—people always know that when they come to me, they get the raw version. There is no behind the scenes going on. I live for those around me and those around me know I am a person of value. That feels real good!

What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your happy place?

I enjoy quiet places. I’m an introvert so I gain energy through being quiet—being on the water, hiking in nature, just hanging out at home. I really love going to Edmonds beach. I grew up there, and spending time there reminds me of being a teenager.

I also really, really love food. So, eating is always exciting for me!And I love places that integrate all my favorite things, like Anthony’s at the Everett Marina, where I can knock out good food, drink, and the waterfront in one place.

I agree—there’s not much that can beat enjoying good food near the water. Thank you so much, Christina! Welcome to the Pickett Street team!
