Transformation and Collaboration with 2020’s PNW Operations Retreat
It’s that time of year again…and no, I’m not talking about the superbowl. Margaret Smith’s Pacific Northwest Operations Retreat is scheduled for April 2-5th. According to Margaret, she first started this retreat four years ago after recognizing the lack of professional events, conferences, and retreats for real estate administrators and operations managers. If you want to read about last year’s weekend, check out this interview with Margaret Smith.
The PNW Operations Retreat features diverse speakers and aims to coach, empower, and create a supportive, honest community for real estate admin. “Many admin have a lot of fear about talking to their team leaders/bosses about what they want or think they deserve,”says Margaret. “Thus, much of this retreat is all about personal development. By working on ourselves first, much of what we need will follow.”
If you’re curious about this retreat and her other work supporting admin professionals, retreat out to Margaret at Margaret@pickettstreet.com or 206-228-5067. Or, if you have questions about investing in real estate for the Pickett Street team, contact them at info@pickettstreet.com or (425) 502-5397.
In the meantime, here are the deets about the 2020 retreat’s amazing speakers.
The author of the brilliantly-titled Unfuck Yourself, Bishop spoke at last year’s retreat and is a world-renowned personal development expert. One of Bishop’s many nuggets of wisdom includes the idea that everything you seek is already inside you. If you can’t already tell from the title of his book, he embraces an authentic, honest approach to figuring out and going after what you want in life. Many people describe his work as “life-changing.”
Check out Margaret and Jesse’s interview with Bishop on their podcast Finely Clicked.
Mangels is a leading Strategic Intuitive Adviser, Empath, and modern-day Spiritualist, and, while Mangels insists that her work isn’t magic, she sort of sounds like a fairy godmother/jedi master…
Mangels draws on compassion to guide her clients as they release limiting beliefs and negative self-talk in order to improve productivity and professional, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. Mangels helps people from all walks of life better understand and harness their intuition to make major changes in their careers and personal lives.
Jesse Moore, in case you didn’t know, happens to be Pickett Street’s owner and lead listing agent. Jesse helped his real estate team not only weather the 2008 recession but also thrive and break records during this time. An expert in the local real estate market and co-creator with Margaret Smith of the podcast Finely Clicked, he works to bring the highest level of customer service to his clients.
After years as a CEO, Scott founded the professional development program Fierce Conversations and later wrote a book titled after this business. Scott’s work centers on the philosophy that effective, meaningful conversations are the heart and the driving force behind the most successful businesses. Scott’s radical work creates new pathways to collaboration and transformation.
With this sparkling and dynamic line-up of speakers, I’m not sure how anyone could come away from the 2020 retreat anything less than transformed. For more about the retreat, check out the event’s Facebook page, or reach out to Margaret Smith (Margaret@pickettstreet.com or 206-228-5067).
